Laura Werther joined GWWO’s marketing department in 1998 and became a member of the firm’s management team in 2000. Since joining GWWO, Laura has worked to build the firm from a regionally-respected 18-person firm to a nationally-recognized team of 55.
As the firm’s Director of Marketing and Business Development, Laura is focused on identifying prospects and initiating new client relationships, and on strengthening GWWO’s reputation as a leader in the design of cultural and educational facilities. Laura concentrates on the strategic planning and positioning of the firm as leaders in these markets through a broad range of marketing, promotional and business development activities.
Laura is a member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services and currently serves on the education committee for the SMPS Maryland Chapter. She is also currently a member of the Walters Art Museum’s Walters Enthusiasts steering committee, is involved at The Center Club, where she serves on the young members and ambassador committees, and is a member of the board of directors and chairs the communications committee for the Homeland Association. She was formerly a board member for the Baltimore Junior Association of Commerce. Laura holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a Masters of Business Administration, both from Loyola University Maryland.
